Impacts on World War II
At this time in the war, Hitler’s Rule and the Axis Powers were already defeated. Germany and Italy (the main leaders) had been forced out of World War II, and the only country left was Japan. That’s where the Atomic Bomb comes in.
The bomb created such a large amount of devastation for Japan to the point where they were no longer equipped to fight the war and there was no way they could do it on their own. The Atomic Bomb prevented the Allied Powers from having to invade Japan in order to win the war. If they did choose to invade, it would result in many lives lost on both sides. Despite the ruins in Japan, it was the best decision.
The atomic bomb changed the course of World War II and also saved the lives of hundreds of the Allie’s troops. It ended the death of innocent people and abolished the evil, psychotic ideas and beliefs that Adolf Hitler put into action. Moreover, when the bomb dropped, and Japan left the war, a new era of peace arised until the Cold War.
